Lee McCord called the meeting to order. Two new members were welcomed to LBC.  No program designated for this meeting due to the election of officers for 2008.  There were additional gift certificates available so the members present were awarded a $15 gift certificate at Bike & Fitness.

Treasurers Report expenses for this month were  for gift certificates, $13 for weiner roast with balance of $3,246.04 with 180 LBC members.  Ride Director was Gina Vandiver for November with club rides beginning at Gregg County Airport on Saturdays with varied start times due to the weather conditions.

Time Trials are wrapped up and trophies have been ordered.  Ben noted there were 10 riders but only 6 qualified due to the requirements for participation. Joe Bruner has offered to be 2008 Time Trial Director and stated he is looking into generating more interest for 2008 participation.

December Ride Director is Dwight Walden and has indicated rides would start from the Bike Shop for December. Interest in riding the Stagecoach Rider in December was discussed with a date of December 2 at 2:00 pm for this ride.

Program Director – David Plants

Drinks Director for Monday Night Rides – Mike Ford

No other nominations were received from the floor so nominations were closed.  All members in attendance voted unanimously for the above positions.

President Elect Roger presented several options for consideration in increasing the attendance of rides and meetings.  Options include structuring club rides to fit new members and riders.  Discussion on providing a newsletter on a quarterly basis starting in January but the ride calendar would be issued monthly and made available at the Bike Shop.

The LBC Christmas Party will be held at Bid Dave’s Bar B-Q on Saturday, December 8^th at 7:00 –9:00 p.m. Bar B-Q sandwiches, drinks and trimmings will be provided at no charge.  Please bring a dessert and a gift for the White Elephant Gift Swap.
